Growth and Development
A subgroup focused on the measurement of healthy growth and development.
Ontario Public Health Standards Coverage
Healthy Growth and Development includes a long list of topic areas named in the Healthy Growth and Development standard, but which are divided up over multiple Core Indicators subgroups. This subgroup focuses on the Growth and Development, Infant Feeding, and Visual Health topic areas, but also co-ordinates work related to child health among the Reproductive Health, Oral Health, and the future Positive Parenting subgroups.
- Cancer and Risk Factors was one of the original four subgroups - formed in February 2006.
- Healthy Eating and Active Living subgroup split from the original subgroup in March 2007.
- Subgroup closed in 2013.

Recruitment
This subgroup is currently in "Maintenance Mode" and is not recruiting at this time.
Maintenance Mode activities are performed by one or two Leads, and include:
- assessment of any issues arising,
- supporting overall Core Indicators project priorities,
- periodic review of subgroup products (indicators, datasources, and gaps), and
- determining when to "activate" the subgroup: recruitment for development/revision work.
