Core Indicator Resources
APHEO developed the APHEO Core Indicators in collaboration across the field of public health to provide standardized measures for population health assessment in Ontario. They provide clear methodology to measure the complex concepts of health of individuals and communities.

These pages of data source metadata, are in the process of being migrated from the old website to the new one.

OPHS Indicator Alignment and Identified Gaps (IN DEVELOPMENT)These pages summarize how the Core Indicator Project supports the Ontario Public Health Standards (OPHS), outlining both currently available indicators as well as identified gaps with the intention of improving OPHS topic coverage over time.
3. "Under Revision" refers to any resource which is currently undergoing a complete review either by the Core Indicators Work Group or by one of the current subgroups. Go to the Our Volunteer Workforce page for more information on these groups. "Under Development" refers to a new resource that is being developed and has not yet been finalized. "Needs Update" refers to resources which at minimum require updating to reflect the Ontario Public Health Standards (OPHS) and Protocols rather than the Mandatory Health Programs and Services Guidelines (MHPSG) and/or change of source, for example to reflect the switch from the Provincial Health Planning Database (PHPDB) to IntelliHEALTH. Resources with other know issues are also marked as "Needs Update".
