Core Indicators Development Subgroup:
Mental Health
A new subgroup to support the measurement of mental health, including identifying existing indicators and developing new indicators.
Ontario Public Health Standards Coverage
Mental health is threaded throughout the Ontario Public Health Standards, and is specifically named as a topic area in the following program standards: Chronic Disease Prevention and Well-Being; Healthy Growth and Development; School Health; and Substance Use and Injury Prevention. For the Core Indicator project, the Mental Health subgroup also includes the Sleep topic area as it is closely related to Mental Health and isn't included in the scope of other subgroups.

We are seeking volunteers to build a new subgroup, if you are interested please sign-up here.
Subgroups typically meet every two months by teleconference, with indicator development activities (researching, drafting, and reviewing) taking place between meetings.
