Core Indicators Development Subgroup:
Positive Parenting
A future subgroup will be created to support the measurement of positive parenting, including prioritizing concepts for measurement and identifying potential data sources.
Ontario Public Health Standards Coverage
Positive Parenting includes the parenting-related topic areas names in the Healthy Growth and Development program standard, specifically: Preparation for Parenting, and Positive Parenting. These topic areas are also relevant to other aspects of child health, and so this subgroup will work closely with the Healthy Growth and Development subgroup.

We are seeking volunteers to build a new subgroup, if you are interested please sign-up here.
Subgroups typically meet every two months by teleconference, with indicator development activities (researching, drafting, and reviewing) taking place between meetings.
